  • Dehumidification using condensation on the cold surface
  • Surface temperature should be lower for larger dehumidification
  • If the surface temperature drops below 0 ℃, continuous operation will not be possible due to icing
  • Air temperature is lowered with dehumidification
  • In case of high humidity and low temperatures (i.e. rainy seasons), room temperature becomes excessively low when the air conditioner isoperating for dehumidification
  • This is one of the main technical limit of cooling dehumidification, and an avoidable problem

    such as silica gels, absorbs moisture

  • Air does not cool with dehumidification as in cooling dehumidification

  • The Moisture Filter is a honeycomb structure coated with desiccant materials in order to promote efficient moisture capturing
  • Moisture Filter is mostly in rotary shape separated in two sections
  • Adsorption and dehumidification occur in a section of the wheel,
    and desorption and regeneration occur in other section
  • Regular procedures for desorption and regeneration occurs
    at very high temperatures between 100 to 150℃
  • The polymer desiccant developed by Humaster can be regenerated
    at 40 ℃, thus dramatically increasing energy efficiency
